Therapy Manager Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Therapy Manager will be responsible for providing leadership of the Therapy Department and supervise assigned staff and direct care to eligible patients. 

Job Description:

The Therapy Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • The Therapy Manager  will work closely with therapy staff, department and clinic managers, nursing staff, clinician staff, clinic lead physicians, administrative staff, and patients and their families

  • Administer therapy program to include training and supervision of staff

  • Develop therapy programs in accordance with the instructions of a physician as well as supervise and administer treatment to convalescing patients

  • The Therapy Manager  will observe condition of patients during treatment and may modify the prescribed treatment if it seems to be injurious to the health of the patient

  • He/She will consult with the physician to outline long range programs for a patient and report progress or results

  • Teach exercises to patient or patient's family for home treatment

  • The Therapy Manager  will schedule patients for treatment

  • Prepare periodic patient progress reports

  • The Therapy Manager  will prepare detailed monthly reports.           

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Therapy Manager Job

  • The Therapy Manager  should have previous Rehabilitation Therapy Management Experience
  • He/She should have experience working with a well-respected industry leader and enjoy tremendous opportunity for Personal and Career Growth.     

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Therapy Manager Job

  • Degree from Accredited School
  • Current state Therapy License.
