Physical Therapy Assistant will perform
all or some of the following Job

Physical Therapy Assistant will
participate in the planning and
organization of the Department, assuming
added responsibilities as delegated by
the Director of Physical Therapy

He/She
will be accountable to the Director of
Physical Therapy

He/She
will be responsible for the treatment of
patients in the following age group:
adolescent and geriatric.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Physical Therapy Assistant Job
-
The
Physical Therapy Assistant should be
able to demonstrate theoretical
knowledge and clinical competence in
physical therapy treatment methods
-
He/She should have full command
(verbal and written) of the English
language
-
The
Physical Therapy Assistant should
possess the physical ability and
perceptive acuity, e.g., visual and
hearing, to satisfactorily perform
all direct and indirect patient care
functions
-
He/She must demonstrate the
knowledge and skills necessary to
provide care/service to the age of
the patients served on the assigned
unit/department.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Physical
Therapy Assistant Job
Current
State Registered Physical Therapy
Assistant license
Current BCLS (within 30 days of
employment)
Associates Degree from a college
program satisfying the PT academic
and intern requirements for
competence
Current CPR certification.
