Job Summary:
The
Occupational Therapist will be
responsible for providing high quality
professional health care through an
extended practice role to patients in
their home. He/She will cooperate in the
full range of care and documentation
responsibilities necessary to ensure
adequate communication and coordination
of Occupational Therapy services and
service reimbursement.Job
Description:
The
Occupational Therapist will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
screening patients
He/She will perform evaluations and
develop initial and interim
treatment and discharge plans
Document progress toward identified
objectives
The
Occupational Therapist will oversee
Occupational Therapy Assistant(s)
and/or Rehabilitation Technician(s)
Develop and implement new
program/techniques to enhance
occupational therapy services
He/She will conduct patient and
family education
The
Occupational Therapist will deliver
quality occupational therapy
services for patients, caregivers,
and facilities, putting patient
service first
He/She will meet and maintain
productivity requirements.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Occupational Therapist Job

The
Occupational Therapist should have
one to two years home care
experience

Good oral and written communication
skills

He/She should possess the ability to
communicate effectively

The
Occupational Therapist should have
the ability to work with diverse
populations

Demonstrate flexibility and
adaptability to change

He/She should possess good
organizational skills.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Occupational Therapist Job

Bachelors degree in Occupational
Therapy from an accredited program

Current State Occupational Therapist
License

Registered by American Occupational
Therapy Association
