Description:
The
Neonatal Therapist will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Working with a team of professionals
comprised of neonatologists,
registered nurses, respiratory
therapists, etc., the Neonatal
Therapist will be responsible for
developing and administering
medically directed or prescribed
therapy programs and treatments for
inpatients and occasionally
outpatients of newborn to one year
of age.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Neonatal Therapist Job

The
Neonatal Therapist should possess a
high level of collaboration and
teamwork with an emphasis on
customer service to ensure
continuity of care for patients and
their family members
-
He/She should have two (2) years
experience as a Neonatal Therapist
experience in a level II or level
III NICU
-
The
Neonatal Therapist should have
working knowledge of Medicare,
Medicaid and other government
regulations.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Neonatal Therapist Job

B. S.
Degree (or higher) in Speech
Language Pathology, Occupational
Therapy or Physical Therapy
-
Current State license as a Therapist
by the respective Board of Therapy
through the State
-
Certified in cardio pulmonary
resuscitation (CPR) for adult
population and infant/child as
designated by area of competency.
