Lymphedema Therapist Job Description

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Lymphedema Therapist will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • The Lymphedema Therapist will be responsible for developing and administering medically directed or prescribed therapy programs and treatments for teen, adult and geriatric inpatients and outpatients and teaching patient and employee educational programs.             

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Lymphedema Therapist Job

  • Lymphedema experience desired.   

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Lymphedema Therapist Job

  • B.S. (or higher) Degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
  • Licensed as a Physical or Occupational Therapist by the State Board
  • Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
