Job Summary:
The
Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant will be responsible for
providing both individual and group
patient treatments under the supervision
of a Licensed Occupational Therapist.
He/She will be
involved
in department program planning, adaptive
equipment fabrication and quality
improvement. The
Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant will be
responsible for treating children and
adults that do not require any
professional specialty certifications to
address their treatment needs.

The
Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant will perform

The
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
will manage a full patient caseload
of both individual and group
treatments as assigned

He/She will collaborate with OTR/L
on given caseload

Maintain accurate patient treatment
records

The
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
will prepare for and actively
participate in team conferences,
family conferences, family education
sessions, team problem-solving
meeting, staff meetings and
in-services
-
He/She will supervise occupational
therapy assistant students.

The
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
should possess
0-6 months experience.
Minimum Education Requirements /

Current State Occupational Therapy
