Job Description:

The Teacher Mind-Body Medicine will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Teach courses on humanistic psychology and health, mind-body medicine and integrative health studies, and related courses in the current curriculum of the MS and PhD degrees of the College of Mind-Body Medicine

• Serve as a mentor and also expand the mentoring program to comprehensively address the needs of students from the beginning of their program until matriculation

• Assist the Dean and Chair in providing stewardship of the Ph.D. and M.S. program

• Teach and direct research at the M.S. and Ph.D. level.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Teacher Mind-Body Medicine Job

• Previous teaching experience
• Experience supervising master's and doctoral research
• Expertise in qualitative research, understanding of human science approaches to inquiry, and competency in quantitative methods
• Competency in the online teaching environment
• Familiarity with student outcomes assessment
• Interest in pushing the boundaries of knowledge and of human potentials
• Strong academic record in teaching and scholarship.
