Fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and
written

Strong command of English as a tool
for instruction and for writing

Experience teaching languages,
preferably in an independent
school setting

Willing to engage in other areas of
school life, including residential
life, advising, coaching, and
committee work

Experience
and enjoy working with high school
age students
Willing to travel to Asia annually
to meet with current and alumni
families and help to recruit new
students
Interested in helping to define and
build over time a comprehensive
program serving beginning,
intermediate, advanced, as well as
native
speakers.
