The
Teacher - LDP
will be responsible for teaching one or
more subjects to clients to help them
learn the subject matter and/or skills.

The
Teacher - LDP will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Plan
a program of study that meets the
clients individualized needs,
interest, and abilities
-
Create a classroom environment that
is conducive to learning and
appropriate to the clients maturity
and interest
-
Assist in the on-going development
of the school curriculum and
processes toward the achievement of
curriculum goals
-
Employ a wide variety of
instructional methods and materials
that are most appropriate for
meeting educational objectives that
are outlined in the school
curriculum
-
Assess the accomplishments of
clients on a regular basis and
provide progress reports as required
-
Participate as an educational team
member in relationship towards the
clients, staff, and school
-
Diagnosing the learning disabilities
of clients on a regular basis and
seeks assistance of educational
specialists as required
-
Manage an educational caseload by
supporting the educational plan,
setting short-term goals, and
summarizing achievements in reports
for assigned clients
-
Administer tests to evaluate client
progression, record results, and
issue reports to inform
parents/guardians of educational
progress
-
Supervise
2-3 teachers’ aide.

Ability to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily

Twenty-one (21) years of age

Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34
clearances, specific State and child
clearances and FBI)

Non-communicable diseases physical
exam

Pass
pre-employment drug screen

Valid
driver's license.
