Plan a program of study that meets the clients individualized needs, interest, and abilities

Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the clients maturity and interest

Assist in the on-going development of the school curriculum and processes toward the achievement of curriculum goals

Employ a wide variety of instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting educational objectives that are outlined in the school curriculum

Assess the accomplishments of clients on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required

Participate as an educational team member in relationship towards the clients, staff, and school

Diagnosing the learning disabilities of clients on a regular basis and seeks assistance of educational specialists as required

Manage an educational caseload by supporting the educational plan, setting short-term goals, and summarizing achievements in reports for assigned clients

Administer tests to evaluate client progression, record results, and issue reports to inform parents/guardians of educational progress
