Job Summary:
The
Suzuki Teaching Specialist will be
responsible for teaching non-collegiate
level applied Suzuki lessons in the
areas of guitar, flute, violin, viola,
cello, harp, piano, group classes, piano
theory and/or orchestra.

Suzuki Teaching Specialist will perform
all or some of the following Job

Take
group
classes
Conduct
studio recitals
Maintain student rosters
Conduct
occasional community performances
and staff meetings.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Suzuki Teaching Specialist Job
-
Two
years demonstrated success and
experience teaching music courses
and/or music lessons at the K-12
level
-
Three years of successful Suzuki
teaching experience
-
Completion of Suzuki pedagogy
training through level IV
-
Evidence of successful professional
music performing experience at the
regional level
-
Successful completion of Suzuki
pedagogy training through Level I
-
Registration and membership with the
Suzuki Association of Americas
-
Proven ability to communicate
effectively
-
Ability to
work
cooperatively and collaboratively
with colleagues.
