Pre-College Tutoring Programs Manager Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Pre-College Tutoring Programs Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of School students’ academic experience. He/She will  manage every aspect of instruction with an eye toward continually improving the academic progress of every student. The Tutoring Programs Manager will also be responsible for selling products and services to new and current families.

Job Description:

The Pre-College Tutoring Programs Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Develop an effective academic team by providing ethical leadership, training, coaching, development and motivation

  • Provide ongoing management, coaching, and development of team

  • Support and communicate School goals and initiatives to improve student outcomes, provide an excellent customer experience, and grow revenue

  • Manage the service provided to our customers including parent communication, effective instruction, and complete customer satisfaction

  • Manage a staff of Tutors and Tutor Trainers

  • Ensure all students meet and exceed company benchmarks for academic progress and/or score improvement

  • Employ consultative sales techniques to enroll new and current members in tutoring programs

  • Actively execute sales, marketing, and promotional programs to meet expected sales and revenue metrics

  • Manage part time Tutor recruiting, hiring, training, supervision, scheduling, professional development, and overall instructional quality

  • Analyze and make improvements to School customer referral program to ensure positive results

  • Help market programs to local schools, families, organizations, and community leaders

  • Train qualified Tutors to help staff marketing and sales events

  • Monitor student lesson plans, student academic progress, and assessments

  • Manage the assimilation of new instructional materials and methods

  • Run and manage all aspects of the business independently at least two days per week (depending on location).

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Pre-College Tutoring Programs Manager Job

  • 2-3 years of teaching and/or management experience
  • Passion for fostering academic progress and score improvement
  • Excellent remote management skills
  • Leadership and team motivation skills
  • Ability to expertly and aggressively market and sell School’s brand and products to prospective students, parents, organizations, and community leaders
  • Knack for relationship building in person and via phone
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details
  • Strong interpersonal communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Desire to work in an intense, fast paced environment with heavy customer interaction
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making, listening and creative thinking abilities
  • Enthusiasm for customer service, sales and overall business growth
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to work effectively in a dispersed workforce.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Pre-College Tutoring Programs Manager Job

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with excellent academic record.
