Job Description:

The Middle and Upper School Spanish Teacher will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Work closely with members of the Modern Languages Department, developing and implementing curriculum using a variety of teaching approaches, including the use of technology. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Middle and Upper School Spanish Teacher Job

  • Possess native or near-native fluency in Spanish

  • Teaching experience at the secondary school level or higher

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work well with colleagues, and the capacity to inspire students

  • Five years of teaching experience are preferred although not required

  • Ability to embrace the school’s mission, and philosophy.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Middle and Upper School Spanish Teacher Job

  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Spanish

  • Master’s degree.
