Description:
The
Coordinator Student Teaching will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Coordinate placements of all teacher
certification candidates into
clinical experiences
-
Maintain open and harmonious
relationships with appropriate
school districts, State Department
of Education, and higher education
personnel
-
Oversee maintenance of placement
data, generate appropriate reports,
and prepares and monitors budget.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Coordinator Student
Teaching Job
-
Two to three years of experience in
a related field
-
Knowledge of State teacher
certification regulations, SCSU
Teacher programs
-
Admission to teacher education
programs and familiarity with
operation of school districts
-
Experience with Clinical Supervision
helpful
-
Experience working as a team member
in situations where it is necessary
to assume initiative with external
constituencies and internal
operations to accomplish mission
-
Ability to communicate well with
students, faculty, administrators
and external clients.
