Description:
The
Chemistry - Faculty will perform
all or some of the following Job

May
teach evenings and weekends
Take
fifteen credit hours of instruction
per semester, five office hours
weekly
Perform
college and community service and
ongoing professional development.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Chemistry - Faculty Job

Two
years of teaching experience at the
High School or College Level.

Enthusiasm about Chemistry content
and pedagogy, and display a keen
interest in student learning

Computer literate, and prepared to
use typical instructional technology
and chemical instrumentation

Personality that is compatible with
the current departmental faculty
-
Combination of education and
teaching experience relevant to
teaching CHEM 121/122 & 123/124 -
General Chemistry
-
Ability to communicate effectively
in written and spoken English.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Chemistry - Faculty
Job
-
Masters degree in Chemistry or a
related field with extensive
coursework in Chemistry
-
Recent MS or PhD graduates may
substitute four semesters experience
as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for
the teaching experience.
