The Art Teacher - Elementary will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming school culture driven by student achievement. He/She will be responsible for implementing School’s elementary curriculum and utilizing classroom routines and procedures with consistency. The Elementary Art Teacher will also be responsible for developing rigorous lesson plans, homework assignments and assessments.

The Art Teacher - Elementary will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Work closely with school leaders, analyze student assessment data and use data to inform instruction

• Collaborate in grade level teams to discuss student work, share best practices, and ensure student mastery of standards

• Maintain close relationships with families, including phone calls and conferences

• Participate in on-going professional development in the spirit of continuous improvement.
