Sales Performance Coordinator Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Sales Performance Coordinator is responsible for supporting Company Sales Teams. 

Job Description:

The Sales Performance Coordinator will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Research prospects, generate leads and schedule sales appointments for Managers of Business Development through cold calling, drive vertical campaigns (intro letters and emails) and manage client activity/reporting through American Express’ propriety client management tool (salesforce.com)

  • Manage setup, implementation/ramp-up and customer service for new accounts, which includes client welcome calls, Membership Rewards enrollment, ensuring receipt of cards, conducting training on @Work reporting and program management, managing risk exception submittals, on boarding suppliers and handling client customer service issues

  • Contact regional vendors to determine card acceptance and payment processes, monitor client activity, create and maintain client activity reports, create and maintain vendor reports, manage and coordinate local client events and train new sales hires on all relevant databases and tools.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Sales Performance Coordinator Job

  • Previous project management and client interfacing experience

  • High proficiency in Microsoft 2007 Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required

  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • High motivation and willingness to assume accountability for generating new business and providing high-touch client support

  • Ability to communicate with individuals of varying levels

  • Understanding and appreciation of key customer relationships (internal & external)

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Commitment to ongoing learning and development

  • Ability to act with diplomacy and integrity with handling of confidential and sensitive issues in an appropriate manner

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Sales Performance Coordinator Job

  • Bachelors Degree.
