Job Summary:

The Residential Field Sales Professional is responsible for contacting potential and current customers in residential areas.

Job Description:

The Residential Field Sales Professional will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Acquire new customers and upgrade current subscribers by conducting door-to-door canvas, appointment or referral solicitation in assigned territory

  • Contact subscribers regarding pending disconnects, changes of service, or to follow-up on installations

  • Arrange for installation date and collect payments

  • Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities to ensure orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner

  • Demonstrate excellent sales presentation skills, and develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products, services, rates, and competitors

  • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Residential Field Sales Professional Job

  • One year demonstrated success in field sales working with defined sales goals and quotas
  • 2 or more years field sales experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal oriented
  • Excellent sales skills
  • Strong sense of business ethics, and outstanding customer service
  • Profound presentation, and communication skills.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Residential Field Sales Professional Job

  • College degree preferred; high school diploma, GED, or the recognized equivalent required.
