Residency Sales Manager Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Residency Sales Manager (RPM) is responsible for providing the leadership and driving the residency business at a division level in the area of the sales, delivery capability and overall performance and execution of the Residency Practice business plan. 

Job Description:

The Residency Sales Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Strategically drive new business in selected division in close synergy with the account teams and manage assigned residency services sales, revenue and sales margin targets

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within assigned division

  • Drive business development and pre-sales initiatives by leveraging both industry and technical background

  • Use knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to assess and educate customers on value of storage infrastructure and storage management

  • Provide technical and/or business consultative leadership for the Residency Practice at the pre-and/or post sales level

  • Proactively provide input into the development of policies, procedures, standards and strategies

  • Conduct regular business reviews with Practice and divisional management to ensure delivery excellence, consistent quality business level, adherence to critical business metrics

  • Work with Services leadership to initiate process and program improvements

  • Responsible for the booking, revenue and margin forecast of Residency business in assigned division

  • Align with appropriate delivery teams to leverage follow-on business from one delivery mission/projects to another

  • Ensure effective coordination and support between account teams and resident resources.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Residency Sales Manager Job

  • Demonstrate ability to advance sales campaigns in a needs-based and highly participative fashion

  • Understand the power of credentials, and the ability to leverage appropriate success stories that are relevant to a particular prospect and/or sales situation

  • Ability to stay abreast of status/details for each campaign and independently provide reliable residency booking forecasts on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
