Job Summary:
The
Distribution Sales Manager is
responsible for managing a team of sales
account executives to achieve business
targets (both strategic and fiscal)
selling Company products and
technologies through the distributors; developing and
managing the channel
programs associated with these types
of channel partners and developing
and/or executing marketing actions to
support sales out as appropriate.

The
Distribution Sales Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Report, track and
execute programs
-
Execute segment programs
supported by BDMs and provide
feedback on evolution
-
Deliver ad hoc programs using MDF / BDFs
-
Run
channel programs – develop,
understand, support and deliver the
program goals and objectives
-
Responsible for new business
development and recruitment of new
business partners, within
established programs as outlined
above
-
T&C’s negotiation through relevant
channel scoring tools
-
Perform partner volume target reviews
-
Ensure team achieve and exceed
it’s goals through setting up best
practice standards and aligned with
corporate objectives
-
Work with channel Inside Sales
executives to deliver on shared
objectives
-
Perform target and objective setting for
the team
-
Work with local training resources
to ensure adequate product and
program knowledge within the channel
partners
-
Perform regular review of partner plans
with Account Execs to ensure that
named partners fully understand and
are bought into Company technology and
solutions.
