Job Summary:
The
Director of Sales is responsible for
providing sales leadership within the
assigned business unit and will be
responsible for both new business
development and retention and growth of
existing customers. He/She will be
accountable for new business revenue
objectives, lost business revenue
objectives and retention and growth
objectives associated with existing
customers.

The
Director of Sales will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Select, train, develop and manage a
multi-level sales force capable of
selling new business and retaining
and growing existing customers
within the assigned business unit

Leadership of the business unit’s
account management and account
development team
-
Review and approve contract packages
-
Ensure effective and consistent
implementation of marketing
strategies and activities designed
to maximize development of assigned
markets
-
Plan,
organize, direct and provide
leadership to the assigned sales
team to ensure attainment of short
and long term business growth and
retention objectives
-
Ensure the delivery of Company's
value proposition to customers and
prospects through direct interaction
with financial executives or through
effective leadership of the assigned
sales team
-
Ensure the development and
implementation of strategic and
tactical marketing initiatives for
the assigned business unit
-
Develop and lead the execution of
effective initiatives and sales
activities designed to retain and
grow current customers
-
Interface with Company’s customers
and prospects to ensure the maximum
development of opportunities
associated with the full breadth of
Company’s products and services
-
Maintain awareness of competitor’s
capabilities and challenges and
manage execution of a competitive
strategy
-
Ensure consistent execution of all
Company initiatives designed to
reduce lost business and enhance
customer satisfaction:
$8MM in new business, $7-10 MM in
replacement business
-
Interact with the Director of
Operations to maximize customer
satisfaction, customer retention and
business growth opportunities.

sales management experience
