Description:
The
Associate-Business Sales will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Generates leads and prospects new
business as well as creates new
service opportunities with the
existing customer base
-
Carry “paper” quota” for 100%
completion of all sales related
tasks which are quantifiable
-
Respond to requests from field sales
staff for information i.e.; price
plan analysis and customer
information while providing
administrative and sales support,
i.e.; proposals, marketing
information, handling customer
service issues, problem solving and
follow-up on customer service issues
-
Develop and coordinate customer
training, education, and support
regarding wireless phones,
accessories and services
-
Provide pre-sale and post-sale
support
-
Assist with seminars, trades shows,
customer on-sites and attend when
required
-
Process all appropriate
documentation for new
orders/renewals and ensure policies
and procedures are met with regard
to sales activations
-
Ensure equipment activation and
delivery
-
Support customer extranet
activations
-
Continuously update knowledge of
wireless products, services and
industry trends
-
Participate in training
opportunities on products and
services and attend sales meetings
-
Handle inbound calls from customers
and prospects
-
Process all appropriate
documentation for new/renewal orders
and ensure policies are met with
regard to sales activations
-
Ensure activations and the delivery
of equipment is processed in a
timely manner
-
Complete follow up call to customers
same day
-
Support out of market activations
-
Act as federal liaison between all
departments including but not
limited to Implementations,
Contracts/Proposals, Legal, Federal
AOC and GSC.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Associate-Business Sales Job

Experience in sales or customer
service with business accounts
-
Understanding and knowledge of
communications industry and
related products & services
-
Strong cold-calling and lead
generation capabilities
-
Familiarity with billing systems
and order entry systems a plus
-
Ability to work well in a
dynamic, fast-changing
environment that requires a high
degree of multi-tasking with
minimal supervision
-
Excellent interpersonal, written
and oral communication skills
-
Effective use of PC including
Microsoft Office
-
Effective negotiation and
closing skills
-
Two years
Federal/Corporate/Direct
Business sales support
experience
-
Two years Federal sales and or
Retail sales.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Associate-Business Sales Job
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work
experience preferred.
