Spa Receptionist-Attendant Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Spa Receptionist-Attendant will be responsible for the reception area of the salon and spa. He/She will perform duties, Including the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding salon/spa services and booking all appointments.

Job Description:

The Spa Receptionist-Attendant will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Schedule appointments accurately

  • Provide courteous guest service to all guests

  • Answer phones promptly and friendly

  • Stock brochures at front desk

  • Restock retail items

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager

  • Participate and attend in all training classes and staff meetings.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Spa Receptionist-Attendant Job

  • Reception desk and/or salon/spa experience
  • Enthusiastic with excellent customer skills
  • Multi task oriented
  • Detail oriented, friendly, outgoing with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to tolerate a close knit environment with constant co-work involvement
  • Ability to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work well with others and as a team
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs, and stand for a long period of time (up to an average 8 hour shift)
  • Ability le to handle the computer system and all cash handling procedures
  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Knowledge of all spa treatments and salon services.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Spa Receptionist-Attendant Job

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
