Receptionist-Secretary - Outpatient Rehab Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Receptionist-Secretary - Outpatient Rehab will be responsible, under direct supervision, for performing secretarial and receptionist duties, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic procedures.

Job Description:

The Receptionist-Secretary - Outpatient Rehab will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Compile and record medical charts, reports and correspondence using computer

  • Answer telephone

  • Schedule appointments

  • Greet and direct patients.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Receptionist-Secretary - Outpatient Rehab Job

  • Two years related office experience
  • Coursework in medical terminology or knowledge of medical terminology through on-the-job training highly preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Receptionist-Secretary - Outpatient Rehab Job

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
