Receptionist-Secretary Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Receptionist-Secretary will be responsible for greeting and directing visitors at Company facility while maintaining a high level of customer service within the reception area. 

Job Description:

The Receptionist-Secretary will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Greet visitors, manage overnight delivery packages from courier services, coordinate mail package deliveries in-house

  • Manage the switchboard console, answer calls, direct callers, provide assistance and take concise telephone messages

  • Provide administrative support for the Executive Director, Human Resources Manager and General Manager's office

  • Coordinate company functions, reservations and maintain conference room schedules

  • Coordinate job applications for prospective employees

  • Maintain the inventory for office supplies and process a weekly order

  • Maintain reports, organizational chart, contracts and cancellations, office telephone extension list and office calendar of events, files

  • Assist other employees with special tasks that may arise from time to time, as directed.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Receptionist-Secretary Job

  • 3 years experience in a fast paced office environment
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Reliable, organized and possess multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Receptionist-Secretary Job

  • High School Diploma.
