Receptionist Critical Care Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Receptionist Critical Care will be responsible for clearly communicating management expectations to provide comfort and to address the needs of all families and visitors waiting in the Critical Care Waiting Room at all times.

Job Description:

The Receptionist Critical Care will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Provide assistance to physicians, nursing staff, other support staff, and visitors with general information and directions as regards patients and their families

  • Oversee the activities of the volunteers placed to assist with daily functions in the waiting room

  • Meet on a regular basis with other information care groups to share concerns about the families and Organization activities.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Receptionist Critical Care Job

  • 3 years experience providing service to a diverse customer base with a high level of customer contact within a complex setting
  • Ability to type 35-40 wpm
  • Basic computer skills within a Microsoft Windows environment
  • 3 or more years providing service to a diverse customer base with a high level of customer contact
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred.  

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Receptionist Critical Care Job

  • High School diploma.
