Office Receptionist Job Description

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Office Receptionist will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Schedule patient appointments

  • Enter appointment date and time into computerized scheduler

  • Record when appointments have been filled or canceled

  • Telephone patients to remind them of appointments

  • Telephone patients to reschedule missed appointments

  • Call patient referrals to solicit services.  

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Office Receptionist Job

  • Personable and friendly

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Computer knowledge

  • Professional, motivated, energetic

  • Punctual and dependable

  • Ability to multi task

  • Strong customer service ethic.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Office Receptionist Job

  • High School Diploma or GED.
