Job Summary:
The
Bilingual Receptionist - Hospital will
be responsible for coordinating
activities within the medical center so
the planning; organizing and controlling
of resources are consistent with the
overall operating plan, goals and
objectives.

The
Bilingual Receptionist - Hospital will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Check
appointment list to ensure that all
scheduled patient's medical records
have been received and properly
prepared for medical professional
-
Verify eligibility in practice
management system
-
Schedule transportation for eligible
members
-
Influence patient satisfaction by
ensuring patients are greeted upon
arrival, properly registered in the
system, properly processed and
recorded, and provide service in a
polite, courteous and professional
manner according to policies and
procedures
-
Notify medical assistants of
patients arrival and provide medical
records
-
Collect patient payments and ensure
payments are properly recorded and
processed according to policies and
procedures
-
At
the end of medical professional's
session ensures appointment listing
is closed with correct cancellation
and no show codes
-
Assist patients with follow up
instructions and/or appointments and
confirm that appointments are 24 to
48 hours in advance
-
Conduct all activities in a polite,
courteous and professional manner
and abide by company policies and
procedures
-
Perform secretarial and clerical
functions
-
Maintain work area clean and
organized at all times.

years receptionist/clerical
experience in a healthcare
environment preferred

Bi-lingual English/Spanish

Ability to read, write and speak
English

Basic
Computer knowledge
-
Intermediate computer skills (MS
Word, Excel, Power Point).
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Bilingual Receptionist - Hospital Job
-
Associate Degree (AA/AS) or
equivalent in a medical related
field and a minimum of three years
Receptionist/Clerical experience,
preferably in a healthcare setting
-
Clerical certification.
