Job Summary:
The
Supervisor Radiology will be
responsible for scheduling, assigning
and supervising the work of the
radiology area. He/She will utilize
customer service skills in order to
positively impact the experience of care
for the Organization's patients,
external customers and internal service
partners. Job

The
Supervisor Radiology will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Supervisor Radiology will perform the
job in accordance with Allina's
Standards of Business Conduct, which
includes compliance, ethics and
integrity, confidentiality, protection
of assets, and avoidance of conflicts of
interest and inappropriate business
relationships

He/She
will report to Clinical Services Manager

Plan,
coordinate, monitor and report on the
radiology area

The
Supervisor Radiology will assist with
data collection, reports and compilation
of statistical data from radiology
-
Supervise
and provide training and orientation to
assigned personnel
-
Assign
radiology duties, arrange for coverage
and oversee daily operations
-
Complete
performance reviews, salary increases
and promotion, and research and deliver
disciplinary actions
-
The
Supervisor Radiology will hire,
involuntary terminate, perform reviews
and disciplinary action for staff
He/She
will perform scheduling per guidelines
and work flow demands
Perform
capitol
purchase recommendations
The
Supervisor Radiology will
perform
related work as required.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Supervisor Radiology Job
-
The
Supervisor Radiology should have
`experience with PC (Excellian
preferred) within a work environment
-
He/She
should have 2 year Radiologic
Technologist degree, maintain RT
certification (HCFC)
-
Possess 3
years experience
-
The
Supervisor Radiology should have 2 or
more years as lead/supervisor or related
experience
-
Supervise
and provide training and orientation to
assigned personnel
-
Assign
radiology duties, arrange for coverage
and oversee daily operations
-
The
Supervisor Radiology should be able to
operate specialized radiologic equipment
to make clinical diagnostic images and
special imaging as directed by providers
or radiologist
-
He/She
should enjoy patient instruction and
teaching.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Supervisor
Radiology Job
-
Graduate ARRT approved program, ARRT
registered
-
Obtain 24 CEU's in 2 year period to
maintain RT certification.
