Sonographer II Radiology must have
one year experience in specialty
area

He/She must be able to operate
various types of ultrasound
equipment used in performing
procedures

He/She must be able to communicate
effectively

Sonographer II Radiology must be
able to demonstrate knowledge of
both normal and abnormal anatomy

He/She must be able to demonstrate
patient centered/patient valued
behaviors.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Sonographer II Radiology Job

The
Sonographer II Radiology must have
successfully graduated from an
ultrasound program accredited by the
Joint Review Committee on Education
in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRCDMS)
-
Registered as a Sonographer by the
American Registry of Diagnostic
Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with
current active status
-
Possess
current Healthcare provider CPR
course completion card prior to hire
and/or placement in job.
