Senior Radiology Technologist - Special
Procedures will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Senior Radiology Technologist -
Special Procedures under the
direction of a qualified
physician will assist with
procedures on patients resulting
in accurate diagnosis and
treatment of heart disease and
peripheral vascular while
maintaining maximum patient
safety and comfort
-
He/She will operate and maintain
all diagnostic and therapeutic
equipment used in the Cath Lab.

The
Senior Radiology Technologist -
Special Procedures should possess
two years experience working in
Radiology Department -experience
working in interventional radiology

Accredited School of Radiology
-
Endovascular anatomy and physiology,
Aseptic Techniques
-
The
Senior Radiology Technologist -
Special Procedures should
possess
Computer Knowledge
-
Possess ability to operate
radiological and interventional
radiological equipment, patient
observation and critical thinking
and knowledgeable of Title 17.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Senior
Radiology Technologist - Special
Procedures Job

State
of practice DHS certified Radiologic
Technologist
-
American Registry of Radiologic
Technologist (ARRT), BCLS, and ACLS
-
Preferred: Registered
Cardiovascular-Interventional
Technologist - RT, (CV) with
American Registry of Radiologic
Technologist (ARRT).
