Job Summary:
The
Registered Nurse - Radiology will be
responsible for performing specialized
nursing care duties for patients in the
Cardiovascular Department,
Catheterization Laboratory and
Interventional Imaging Services of the
Radiology Department facilitating a safe
environment for patients undergoing
invasive and non-invasive imaging
procedures.Job
Description:
The
Registered Nurse - Radiology will perform
all or some of the following Job

The
Registered Nurse - Radiology will rotate
on-call, holidays and weekends as needed

He/She
will report and will be accountable to
the ICU Nursing Supervisor with dotted
line to the Imaging Director

Take into
account the individual needs of the
patient with regards to their age and
clinical diagnosis to guide delivery of
care
-
The
Registered Nurse - Radiology will
maintain patient safety and act as a
patient advocate during the hospital
stay
He/She
will embrace diversity by displaying
sensitivity to different cultures and
cultural backgrounds.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Registered Nurse - Radiology Job
-
The
Registered Nurse - Radiology should have
minimum of two years as an RN
-
Possess
minimum of one year Interventional
Imaging or Cardiac Cath RN experience
preferred
-
ICU, Imaging or Cardiac Cath experience
preferred.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Registered
Nurse - Radiology Job

Current California license as a
Registered Nurse

BSN
Preferred
-
Current Advance Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS), PALS Preferred.
