Interventional Radiology RN Job Description

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Interventional Radiology RN will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • The Interventional Radiology RN will assess, plan, perform, document, and evaluate professional independent nursing practice at Organization's Hospital

  • He/She will perform and document dependent functions such as carrying out the physician’s medical orders

  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and treatment procedures

  • Provide a safe and therapeutic environment

  • The Interventional Radiology RN will coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient, his/her family, health professionals and important others

  • He/She will perform related duties as assigned.            

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Interventional Radiology RN Job

  • Six months experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Six months (1040 hours) ICU experience preferred.       

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Interventional Radiology RN Job

  • Completion of an Accredited program in Nursing
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse by the State
  • ACLS certification is required at hire or must be obtained within twelve (12) months of employment.
