The
CT - Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
CT - Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
will perform diagnostic CT examinations
within hospital and department policies
and standards
-
Communicate and interface with hospital
personnel, medical staff, patients and
family members to insure quality patient
care

Maintain
a safe working environment

The
CT - Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
will perform quality assurance checks on
the CT equipment
-
Practice
aseptic techniques as required
-
The
CT - Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
will maintain a positive representation
of the department to all hospital
personnel, physicians, and public,
demonstrating professional interactions
and addressing customer's interests and
concerns
-
Maintain
professional standards by participating
in in-services, meetings, committees,
and continuing education.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For CT - Diagnostic Radiology
Technologist Job
-
The
CT - Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
should possess minimum of two years as a
staff technologist
-
Ability
to maintain Medication Aide Registry
status with demonstrated competency
every two years.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For CT -
Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Job
-
Current completion of CPR for the
Healthcare Provider (BLS)
-
Registered Radiologic Technologist
with the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists, or
registry eligible as a graduate of
an approved School of Radiologic
Technology and to achieve
registration within six months of
graduation of hire date
-
ARRT
or eligible
-
Currently on the Medication Aide
Registry (only as related to
administration of oxygen) or obtain
training, complete competency and be
registered on the Medication Aide
Registry within 30 days of hire.
