Job Summary:
The
Production Planner will be responsible
for providing daily job starts and
schedule adjustments to multiple
manufacturing teams. Job

Production Planner will perform
all or some of the following Job

The
Production Planner will monitor
production build activity to planned
job completion requirements with
manufacturing team leaders
-
Assist, participate, and lead in
continuous improvement process
improvement activities

The
Production Planner will interact with
other functional groups on a daily
basis to solve any issues relating
to customer deliverables
-
Apply
planning and process knowledge to
elevate constraint limitations
accelerating process throughput
capabilities
-
Plan,
schedule and execute customer orders
to meet business objectives
-
Identify and communicate risks and
opportunities associated with
achievement of production plans
-
The
Production Planner will assess the
impact of engineering change orders
and execute changes as required.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Production Planner Job
-
The
Production Planner should have 3-5 years
experience in a Manufacturing
environment
-
He/She should be familiar with
principles of lean manufacturing
such as continuous flow production,
point of use inventory, kanban in a
build to order manufacturing
environment
-
The
Production Planner should have working
knowledge of a SAP operating system,
ability to manage operating system
parameters to maximize service level
and limit operating expenses
-
He/She should be competent with
office productivity tools: Microsoft
Outlook, Excel, Access, power, Word
-
Possess
excellent communication skills (both
written & verbal); ability to
interface with personnel at all
levels throughout the business
The
Production Planner should
demonstrate analytical skills,
flexible attitude adapting to
change, and ability to replan.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Production Planner Job

Bachelor's Degree
-
APICS
Certification, SAP experience.
