Connection Planner Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Connection Planner will be responsible for creating, developing and managing all digital and social media strategies. He/She will utilize a combo of media and customer research, marketing strategy and analytics to shape digital engagement strategies.

The Connection Planner will coordinate with a variety of internal departments to support their respective missions and ensure a consistent voice on all objectives.  

Job Description:

The Connection Planner will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • The Connection Planner will work with other groups to develop comprehensive digital and social connection plans for clients

  • Supervise the implementation of the programs as needed

  • Establish an agency POV, agency processes and agency best practices for channel planning and social media work

  • The Connection Planner will maintain and update agency's social media strategy to ensure unity

  • Work with media director and client strategists to integrate digital channel plans with broader client marketing strategies (including TV, direct marketing, etc.)

  • The Connection Planner will monitor trends in online community tools, trends and application

  • He/She will continually bring new thinking to the table

  • The Connection Planner will monitor competition and be alert of market changes and developments.        

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Connection Planner Job

  • The Connection Planner must be Creative but a strategic thinker and a team player
  • Strong project management skills and a self starter
  • The Connection Planner must possess cutting-edge and bottomless knowledge of digital and social media platforms and how they can deployed in a variety of scenarios
  • Knowledge of blogging environments applicable to the advertising and marketing industry
  • The Connection Planner should have the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas to board level people
  • He/She must be able to build and maintain relationships
  • Possess the ability to take action not just theorize
  • The Connection Planner should have Public relations, Marketing, Sales, Community Management experience.    

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Connection Planner Job

  • Bachelor's degree.
