The Medical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and validating laboratory procedures of various complexities on biological material such as blood, body fluids, and tissues for Virtual customers. 

Job Description:

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform moderate and high complexity testing accurately and precisely according to established procedure without direct supervision

• Post analytically, validate results using established indicators, investigate deviations from the norm, recognize trends or shifts, and apply corrective action

• The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform, review and document all quality control according to established policies and procedures

• Perform pre-analytical processes including patient ID, phlebotomy, specimen labeling, specimen verification, receipt and shipment

• He/She will correctly operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as required

• The Medical Laboratory Technologist will provide Outstanding Customer Service by demonstrating effective and appropriate communication and interpersonal skills.
