Description:
The
Medical Lab Technician will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Medical Lab Technician will perform and
report tests of all complexity levels,
as defined by CLIA, on patients of all
ages as required in the diagnosis and
treatment of diseases and injuries
-
He/She
will participate in quality control
monitoring, instrumentation maintenance
and troubleshooting, specimen
processing, phlebotomy and customer
service
-
The
Medical Lab Technician will promote
Medical Center vision statement.

Skill For Medical Lab Technician Job

The
Medical Lab Technician should be able to
meet CLIA guidelines for the
complexity level of laboratory site
He/She
should have the ability to exhibit
problem solving skills of a highly
complex nature.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Medical Lab Technician Job
-
Associate
degree from an accredited institution,
which includes courses in chemistry,
biology, and medical laboratory
techniques of CLIA equivalent
-
ASCP, NCA
or equivalent certification or registry
eligible.
