Medical Internship program blends real

The
Medical Intern will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
The
Medical Intern will retrieve, analyze
and interpret the professional and
scientific literature to assist in
providing medical information to
patients, consumers, and/or health care
professionals
Use a
systematic and efficient procedure to
retrieve appropriate medical information
to assist in answering a request
The
Medical Intern will utilize several
types of medical information resources
that can be used to satisfy a medical
information request
Examine
components of research literature,
including study design, methodology,
results, conclusions, and clinical
significance, for appropriateness,
accuracy, and completeness
He/She
will formulate a medical information
response based on the requestor's
question and Company's medical
information editorial standards
The
Medical Intern will provide medical and
scientific review of a medical
information response, and promotional
material to support the Med/Reg/Legal
process
He/She
will understand the various roles,
processes and industry standards
involved in providing medical
information and review in the
pharmaceutical industry setting
The
Medical Intern will develop knowledge of
other roles and functions within Medical
and Scientific Affairs and other
departments
In
addition, the intern, in consultation
with the internship supervisor, will
develop and present one structured
journal club presentation and complete a
specific project relevant to Medical
Information & Review Services.

Skill For Medical Intern Job
The
Medical Intern should possess good
project management and communication
skills, both oral and written
He/She
should be well-versed in technical and
scientific languages in order to
communicate with Medical Affairs,
Research and Development, as well as
other key internal and external
stakeholders
He/She
should have proficiency in Microsoft
Office applications including Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
The
Medical Intern should have the ability
to understand and work within research
study related computer systems and
databases (External Medical & Sceintific
Affairs only).

Engaged
in a doctoral degree program in a health
sciences related field such as a PharmD,
MD or Ph.D., with a working
understanding of the healthcare or
related industry (pharmaceutical,
clinical practice, research or
academic).
