Bill and
enter charges in a timely manner in a
high volume setting

provide guidance to fellow Organization

personal.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Medical Coder - Charge Entry Job
The
Medical Coder - Charge Entry should have
knowledge of medical coding and CPT-4,
HCPCS II and ICD-9-CM
Possess
the
ability
to read and interpret notes and charts
and assign appropriate diagnostic and
procedural codes
Possess
knowledge
of specialty medical practices
The
Medical Coder - Charge Entry should have
knowledge
of medical terminology
Ability
to read and understand an EOB
He/She
should possess
knowledge
of PrimeSuite
The
Medical Coder - Charge Entry should have
five to
seven years of CPT-4, HCPCS II and
ICD-9-CM coding, billing and charge
entry experience in the health care
field.
