Description
The
Medical Assistant will perform all or
some of the following Job description:
The
Medical Assistant will interview
patients, measure vital signs, such as
pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure,
weight, and height, and record
information on patients' charts.
He/She
will prepare treatment rooms and
patients for examination; clean and
sterilize instruments. The Medical
Assistant will inventory and order
medical supplies and materials.
He/She
will operate electrocardiograph (EKG)
and other equipment to administer
routine diagnostic tests; give
injections or treatments and perform
routine laboratory tests.
The
Medical Assistant will schedule
appointments and make follow up phone
calls to patients; perform
administrative tasks, complete
appropriate client company and OSHA
regulated forms, and provide assistance
at front desk
Key data into computer to maintain
clinic and patient records.
The
Medical Assistant will perform other
duties that may be assigned.
