Job Summary:
The
Strategic Marketing Analyst will
primarily interact with U.S./Canada
Commercial Marketing Team and
U.S./Canada Sales Teams but also spend
time collaborating with a cross-section
of regional and global functions and
management teams.
He/She
will be responsible for supporting
efforts in analyzing, developing and
maintaining Company go to market
strategy, competitive seed technology
offerings, assist in launch of Strategic
Trait Initiatives, maintenance Company
grower licensing efforts, and marketing
websites and databases.
In
addition, the Marketing Analyst will
support various continuous improvement
initiatives to help achieve department
and company goals. He/she will also be
asked to lead the implementation of
specific sub-projects associated with
the business needs.
The
Strategic Marketing Analyst will support
development of seed technology go to
market strategy and packaging offerings
to enable pre-packaging initiatives
while offering top quality products to
customers.

The
Strategic Marketing Analyst will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Effectively maintain grower
licensing relationships with third
party vendors
-
Manage and support website
development and databases
-
Support in the launch of Strategic
Trait Initiatives in the U.S./Canada
marketplace
-
Collaborate with Marketing Team and
Sales Teams
-
Work
closely with Strategic Marketing
Lead in analysis of seed technology
and packaging offerings in the
U.S./Canada business. This will
include Market Data Collection,
Competitor Information Collection &
Analysis, and regional SKU
Optimization. This is to enable the
successful launch of a pre-package
strategy
-
Assist in development of market
analysis required for launching key
strategic trait products in the U.S.
/Canada region. This will include
the assistance in developing pricing
and go to market strategies of these
products
-
Maintain relationships with third
party vendors for grower licensing
efforts for biotech products
launched in the U.S./Canada
marketplace and implement changes in
requirements as needed

Maintain marketing databases such as
Readi and utilize marketing
databases to help analyze current go
to market strategy and understand
the competitive landscape
-
Assist in development of key
internal and external communications
including dealer agreements, grower
licensing, production, and sales
agreements.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

Previous sales, marketing, product
management or finance experience is
an asset

Domestic and international travel as
required

Solid
human relation skills, effective
oral and written communication
skills

Ability to communicate with
different reporting levels in
multi-national and multi-cultural
organization as an individual or as
a team

Ability to work in a fast-paced team
environment

Decision making and problem solving
skills

Demonstrated expertise and working
knowledge of data management tools
(Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft
Project and SAP systems)

Effective project management skills.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Strategic Marketing Analyst Job
BS in
business or a related field with a
minimum of two years related
experience and/or equivalent
combination of education and
experience.
