Job Summary:
The
Senior Marketing Manager QuickBooks
Accounting will be reporting to the
Marketing Director for Accounting
offerings, and will interact closely
with all members of Accounting in the
Accounting Professionals Division, APD's
marketing, sales, product management,
and customer experience teams, as well
as with the QuickBooks team in the Small
Business Division.Job

Senior Marketing Manager QuickBooks
Accounting will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Partner
with product management to glean deep
customer insights that lead to a better
offering
-
Translate
those insights into actionable ideas
that impact marketing strategy and
tactics
-
Develop
innovative, customer-driven strategic
and tactical marketing programs that
will lead to customer purchase and usage
-
Identify
& segment customers and position the
accounting portfolio to maximize product
line-up and revenue
-
Create
innovative pricing, bundles and
promotions
-
Develop,
test and iterate strategic benefit
messaging
-
Inspire
and accelerate customer word-of-mouth to
tell their peers and clients about our
great solutions
-
Create
learning plans, including frequent input
from customers, to rapidly experiment,
learn and iterate on our marketing plans
to continuously improve growth outcomes
-
Leverage
root cause analysis, analytics and
financial forecasts with key performance
indicators to monitor how the business
is performing and drive for great growth
outcomes
-
Drive/maintain alignment with APD and
Small Business Group counterparts on
QuickBooks Financial Software, Payroll
and other key businesses… foster tight
partnership to deliver shared outcomes
-
Oversee
revenue and expense forecasting and
budgeting for areas of responsibility;
deliver against/exceed financial targets
by quarter and fiscal year.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Senior Marketing Manager QuickBooks
Accounting Job
-
7-10
years of marketing experience and
2-3 years of revenue ownership, work
on a portfolio business or on a
technology offering is a major plus
-
Demonstrated track record of
discovering key customers insights
into their barrier
beliefs/behaviors, creating
innovative plans to overcome those
barriers to drive purchase/usage and
relentless drive to rapidly iterate
and continually improve results
-
Leadership skills - ability to
confidently make executive level
presentations and inspire teams,
both direct reports and
cross-functionally
-
Accountability for results: a clear
track record of taking ownership for
leveraging analytics, partnering
cross-functionally, delighting
customers and driving dramatic
growth through successful marketing
strategies and execution, preferably
for a company selling software or
SaaS/technology-related solutions to
small businesses
-
Customer-focused - tenacious about
peeling the layers to understand
customer behaviors and passionate
about delighting customers at every
touch point they have with Company
-
Strategic thinker - ability to
combine classic strategic marketing
skills with experience framing and
solving complex problems

Partnering - track record of success
working and influencing in a
fast-paced, matrixed organization,
being persuasive and effective to
meet goals even where no direct
reporting relationship exists

Proven track record in product
and/or brand marketing to achieve
continued double-digit growth from
one of our flagship brands and its
line extensions

Strong foundation in consumer or B2B
marketing and entrepreneurial
mindset necessary for the speed and
innovation required to successfully
keep up with the evolving market
place.
