Senior Marketing Manager -
Pharmaceuticals, reporting to
Group Marketing Manager, Payer/Channel
Marketing,
will
be responsible for developing and
implementing strategies, messages, and
tactics that are derived from key
customer insights.

The
Senior Marketing Manager -
Pharmaceuticals will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Perform
customer listening and Insight
Generation
Conceive, develop, and implement
strategies that ladder to customer
insights; convert these into tactical
marketing plans and deliver results
Lead projects that develop
organizational capabilities, optimize
strategies, and provide value added
tactics to Payer/Channels customers
Develop expert grasp of the market and
competitive dynamics
Lead and collaborate cross-functionally
with Legal, Regulatory, Medical, Market
Access, Advocacy, National Accounts,
Marketing, Sales, etc.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Senior Marketing Manager -
Pharmaceuticals Job

2+ years
marketing experience in healthcare or
pharmaceutical industry with a
demonstrated record of success

Awareness
with private and public payer customers
(e.g. MCO’s, Medicare Part A-D,
Medicaid, PBM’s)
-
Ability
to build strong internal and external
relationships and foster an environment
around teamwork and collaboration
-
Track
record of organizational skills and
ability to meet tight deadlines in an
environment of competing priorities
-
Ability
to routinely work on multiple tasks with
multiple people while effectively
prioritizing
-
Excellent
interpersonal, communication and
negotiation skills for a wide variety of
audiences, including senior management
-
Payer/Channel marketing experience
-
Field
sales experience or equivalent skills

Specialty
pharmacies, specialty distribution, or
GPO experience
-
Solid
business acumen and project management

Critical
thinking and problem solving

Strong
results orientation and work ethic

Comfort
with ambiguity and complexity

Ability
to influence without authority and make
effective decisions

Knowledge
of the healthcare regulatory environment

Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

Pharmaceuticals Job
Bachelors degree or equivalent
MBA or equivalent experience.
