Job Summary:
The
Senior Marketing Manager Personal Care will
be responsible for defining, formulating
and implementing marketing strategy for
Company male grooming portfolio and
specific retail customers within its
Personal Care category with a heavy
focus on regional implementation (e.g. a
translation of the global strategies
into North American specific plans).Job
Description:
The
Senior Marketing Manager Personal Care will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Manage
(with Personal Care Marketing Director &
other team members) the annual financial
and share targets for the Company US
business
-
Analyze
the business environment (market,
consumer, and competition) as input for
annual marketing & portfolio planning
planning
-
Develop,
define and deploy marketing strategy in
close cooperation with the US sales and
marketing team and the global business
unit
-
Lead the
regional implementation of the brand
strategy for Company products
-
Manage &
implement the annual marketing
communications and local promotions
program
-
Make
recommendations to senior management on
product portfolio selection
-
Perform
pricing strategy and price setting in
collaboration with the global business
unit
-
Map
trade requirements and address trade
needs in marketing strategy.

Develop
content for marketing concepts
-
Develop
and present plans to sales and trade
partners (i.e. trade presentations)
-
Monitor
sales, margins and initiating corrective
actions, in close cooperation with
national account managers
-
Initiate
corrective actions on logistic matters,
like shortages, stock levels, obsolete
and slow moving items
Play key
role in Marketing Teams, Business
Planning Teams, Creative Services and
Logistic Management Team
Provide
coaching and training to junior
marketing professionals.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Senior Marketing Manager Personal
Care Job

5+
years in progressively responsible
marketing management positions;
strong background in marketing of
consumer products or durables
-
Strong evidence of analytical,
strategic thinking applied within a
marketing environment
-
Demonstrated ability to work
effectively in teams, maintaining
sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
-
Excellent communication skills with
the ability to support or defend a
position or idea in a clear, concise
and persuasive manner; proven
presentation skills
-
Experience working with large retail
customers and account teams
-
Experience working effectively with
advertising agencies
-
Experience with the generation of
analysis of marketplace data
-
Deep
understanding and appreciation of
the US Retail Industry and its
shifting trends and practices
-
Ability to balance numerous projects
and issues and prioritize
effectively
-
Strong computer literacy on standard
industry programs; i.e. Microsoft
Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Senior Marketing Manager Personal Care Job
Bachelor's degree, preferably in
marketing; Masters degree or MBA
strongly preferred.
