The
Senior Marketing Manager Innovation,
reporting to the Senior Innovation
Manager, Global Innovation Office, will
be responsible for implementing short
and long term new product innovation
strategy that drives revenue growth,
profit margin growth, achieving business
objectives for new product launches.
His/her responsibilities shall include
customer and end user insights
generation, translation of insight into
new product development, product
strategy development, financial
opportunity assessment, and project
management to launch for International
Markets, regional and global scale.

Senior Marketing Manager Innovation will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Lead new
product Insights & Ideation process on
prioritized business unit initiatives
Drive
formal customer insight program in
existing and new categories that will
identify key customer benefits and unmet
needs, and the opportunities for
sustainable value creation of the brands
Work with
Global Brand Marketing and Regional
Business Leadership to prioritize
innovation initiatives for the region's
core brands
Work
seamlessly with Strategic Research and
Product Development teams to stay
current on existing technology
opportunities and breakthroughs, and
assess their fit against established
customer and market needs
Lead the
Concept Development & Validation of
innovation projects
Translate
new product ideas into business
propositions
Build
value propositions with demonstrable
customer interest, addressing wider
market and competitive landscape
considerations, and resulting in
financial opportunities that are
attractive to the business
Work
directly with business unit teams in
region and across Company team, located
across the globe to refine and evaluate
opportunity attractiveness for new
innovation concepts and build advocacy
for projects to increase alignment,
size, and scope
Lead the
wider team of R&D, Medical, Regulatory,
and Operations to refine product
definition and scope of work to develop
products that can deliver against
market-prioritized needs
Lead the
development of the overall opportunity
financial model, including viability for
investment to launch
Responsible to drive Insights & Ideation
as well as Concept Development, to
deliver the new product innovations for
our priority brands and countries
Responsible for forecasting and
controlling market research and travel
spending to deliver Innovation
objectives for the Brand
Work
directly with brand marketing to
continually develop and execute
portfolio strategy, meeting the
long-term growth needs of the Brand(s)
Lead
large, international projects; may lead
strategic cross-category projects.
Strong
grasp of core marketing concepts and
successful track record of their
application
Strong
analytical skills including business and
financial management
Demonstrated Leader; able to drive
urgency for progress in self and others
(who will be across the globe and
organization), needing little direct
supervision
Project
management experience
Experience in an international, MNC,
marketing role preferred, working with
global and local marketing teams, R&D,
and cross-functional teams
Ability
to collaborate with cross-functional
teams to attain business objectives
Strong
oral and written communication skills,
with the proven ability to interact
directly with commercial leadership to
drive strategy and investment decisions
5-10
years of progressively responsible
product marketing, brand management, and
innovation/product launch experience in
either health care marketing and/or
consumer packaged goods marketing.
