Senior Marketing Manager Business Solutions Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Senior Marketing Manager Business Solutions as the high profile business solutions marketing partner to product and sales, is responsible for developing and implementing value-driven financial institution marketing plans that measurably drive financial institutions to purchase Company Financial Services business solutions and services.

He/She will perform end-to-end marketing of business solutions and services including value proposition development and all marketing-driven sales materials and training, as well as partnering with client financial institutions to help them retain, grow and acquire new profitable business customers.

The Senior Marketing Manager Business Solutions is responsible for all Business Financial Solutions marketing strategy, execution and results measurement, including “think new/try different” executive engagement programs, strategic messaging, compelling financial institution and end-user incentives, and clear financial ROI models.

As part of and in collaboration with Company Financial Services marketing team, continuously optimize financial institution marketing programs to support new and add-on Sales, leveraging current market trends and applying Company best practices and other innovation insights with peers and external sources.

The Senior Marketing Manager Business Solutions will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Value Proposition Creation: Synthesize customer research & market analysis to lead teams in creating compelling value propositions for Company business solutions and services

  • Mobile First Mindset: Creatively consider the accelerating mobility of business customers and financial firms’ need to keep pace in strategic marketing planning and execution

  • Sought-after Marketing Partner to Product and Sales: Effectively earn seat at the table with product and sales leadership to influence strategic business decisions

  • Brand Equity & Marketing Communications: Demonstrate the ability to consistently develop winning, and durable, marketing executions that support Intuit brand positioning

  • Marketing Program Implementation: Create and own marketing plan for their business/function. Address cross-functional needs & effectively use influence to deliver projects on time and on plan

  • Core Process Business Management: Manage budgets to forecast; Make effective trade-offs between marketing vehicles to maximize revenue & ROI

  • Efficient Project and Team Management: Assign clear ownership, set objectives and drive multiple campaigns forward simultaneously

  • Seek out & capitalize on opportunities for change that enhance the business, rather than reacting to circumstances

  • Manage end-to-end process from business objectives through strategic direction to measurable success. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Senior Marketing Manager Business Solutions Job

  • 7-10 years experience successfully marketing financial services and/or consumer packaged goods

  • Proven track record delivering big marketing ideas that drive measurable business impact

  • Recognized as a marketing expert and consistently adds value as marketing expert in a challenging and fast-paced business environment

  • Ability to consistently apply a cross-functional partnership perspective. Align the team with business goals & teach them about organizational impact & dependencies

  • Effectively work with external and internal creative resources to deliver quality output on time

  • Ability to deliver solid quantitative & qualitative business analysis to justify proposed actions

  • Adept at applying insights & data to support recommendations

  • Ability to create &/or apply business processes to deliver on strategic imperatives & address the changing environment

  • Ability to Execute through others & is frontline contributor as needed

  • Ability to help the team solve for conflicting priorities & makes timely, effective decisions

  • Ability to reduce low return activities to increase time for strategic initiatives

  • Demonstrated strong bias for action

  • Ability to actively builds relationships before they are needed

  • Demonstrated an entrepreneurial perspective (envisioning new & innovative ideas & approaches; brings them to action)

  • Ability to assess team & its plan; make tough calls when required. Deal with problems & not pass them off to another team

  • Demonstrated proficiency in value proposition creation and marketing execution

  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, 3rd parties, and data providers

  • Experience in budgeting, financial modeling, ROI analysis

  • Experience in client-facing relationships, as well as unifying large teams on common goals

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, as well as effective listening skills

  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high quality presentations and promotional materials, from developing key messages and layout to delivery to coaching others on best practices delivery and technique

  • Proven ability to adhere to a project plan to ensure that client commitments are delivered accurately, on time, and within budget

  • Proven ability to engage and delight internal and external clients from all organizational levels

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Senior Marketing Manager Business Solutions Job

  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA strongly preferred.
