Job Summary:
The
Senior Manager Online Marketing will be
responsible for leading online marketing
efforts.
S/he will be responsible for driving
customer acquisition and maximizing
conversion and usage by employing
expertise in lead generation and
conversation activities, including email
marketing, display advertising, and
search marketing (SEM & SEO)
The
Senior Manager Online Marketing will
also be responsible for the design
and management of email campaigns,
including the end-to-end creation and
deployment of triggered and
transactional emails using ESP (email
service provider -- Exact Target) to
create, track and optimize highly
targeted and automated campaigns.

The
Senior Manager Online Marketing will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Develop
online marketing strategies and plans to
support customer acquisition and
conversion efforts
-
Manage
online marketing agencies and budgets,
forecasting monthly goals and ensuring
that they are achieved
-
Manage
reporting & analysis strategy and
communicate key performance trends to
the organization
-
Perform
data analysis as needed to problem solve
and to identify trends and opportunities
-
Devise
direct communications strategy to move
customers through lifecycle from
prospect to trial to user to regular
user
-
Oversee
the development and testing of creative
-
Partner
with internal design and engineering
resources to deploy and track
performance
-
Test and
analyze to improve e-mail delivery, open
rates, click rates and conversion while
minimizing unsubscribe rate
-
Research
and recommend programs to increase
prospect pool, such as co-registration,
list rental, and affiliate marketing
-
Own the
planning, management, and execution of
SEM campaigns for the company, including
working on campaign architecture,
keyword lists, ad copy, and landing page
developments to optimize SEM efforts
across various search engines
-
Drive
website development and optimization
-
Partner
with category marketing, merchandising,
and creative teams to leverage key
corporate initiatives
-
Partner
with content (studio) and consumer
electronic partners to identify and
leverage opportunities for co-marketing
-
Partner
closely with engineering organization to
identify opportunities for technology
enhancements to drive results and
improve efficiency/scalability of online
marketing efforts
-
Manage
additional external vendors and
negotiate new vendor relationships as
necessary.

and technologies

7+
years hands-on experience managing the
production and deployment of email and a
wide variety of online content,
including being well-versed in current
email marketing trends and strategies,
deliverability issues and CAN-SPAM
compliance.
Minimum Education Requirements /

Bachelor’s degree
MBA preferred.
