Job Summary:
The
Senior Manager Marketing Marcomm will
play a key role in the creation of
leverageable consumer insights designed
to positively impact Company marketing
and advertising decisions.
He/She will work closely with the
marketing communications and marketing
strategy teams to design and execute
qualitative and quantitative studies
aligned with growth initiatives across
business lines.Job
Description:
The
Senior Manager Marketing Marcomm will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Perform
creative development, positioning, and
messaging research to ensure that
communications are on strategy and
effectively in influencing relevant
target. This includes designing,
managing, and attending focus groups and
ethnographies, and conducting
quantitative copy research and
advertising effectiveness research

Manage
large and complex brand studies to track
and evaluate brand image and brand
equity
-
Monitor
perceptions of Company and competitors
over time by segment, subscriber status,
and market.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Senior Manager Marketing Marcomm Job

7+ years
experience conducting qualitative
creative development, positioning, and
concept research
-
Experience managing large scale ongoing
and standalone quantitative studies
-
Excellent
business presentation skills, both oral
and written to executive level audience
-
Ability
to prioritize multiple projects and work
in a fast paced environment with tight
deadlines
-
Strong
project management and interpersonal
skills
-
Combination of client side/ corporate
research with either research vendor or
advertising agency experience
-
Category
experience in relationship or
subscription-based services (e.g.
financial services) a plus
-
Experience managing custom tracking
studies , and exposure to variety of
copy research methods/ suppliers
-
Ability
to bring consumer insights to life and
effectively influence communications
strategy development, advertising, and
marketing through partnering and
advisory roles
-
Familiar
with a range of research methodologies
and able to design qualitative and
quantitative research plans for
advertising development and campaign
testing, pre-post evaluation of
marketing communications efforts, and
brand equity tracking

Ability
to synthesize complex data from multiple
data sources into clear, concise, and
informative reporting that “cuts through
the noise” and provides the audience
with the “so what”
-
Ability
to turn data into narrative and story
tell in ways that are creative and
engaging
-
Ability
to represent quantitative data
graphically in ways that are succinct
and visually impactful.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Senior Manager Marketing Marcomm Job
Advanced degree, preferably in
social psychology, anthropology,
sociology or political science.
