Job Summary:
The
Senior Director Marketing - Medical
Products will
be responsible for all upstream
marketing aspects of the IV Solutions,
Irrigation and Drug Reconstitution
segment of the Company. This includes
the overall segment and product strategy
on a global basis including development
and acquisition of technologies to
support and grow the segment
The
Senior Director Marketing - Medical
Products will be responsible for
developing and guiding the strategic
plan for this segment including
developing the multigenerational product
plan. He/She will also be
responsible for working with all regions
to support the ongoing business and
prioritize key initiatives across the
globe.

Description:
The
Senior Director Marketing - Medical
Products will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Lead the
long-term strategy of this segment
to support the current business and
grow in selective areas through
development or acquisitions. This
includes developing and driving the
long range global container strategy
across IV Solutions, Irrigation, and
Drugs affecting over 30
manufacturing plants
-
Team
with R&D, manufacturing, business
development, and other functions to
drive product development and
evaluate new breakthrough
technologies
-
Lead
assessment of any new needed
capabilities/products through
acquisition, licensing, or organic
skill building
-
Lead
Marketing efforts to ensure a
seamless interface between region
and franchise to address issues and
have a coherent prioritized
portfolio
-
Lead
marketing team associated with
supporting development programs
responsible for developing user
needs and product requirements
-
Participate and provide key
direction to the annual World Wide
Product Planning (WWPP) and
technology planning process.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Senior Director Marketing - Medical
Products Job
-
10-15
years of experience in the life
sciences industry in roles of
increasing responsibility, including
5+ years in medical devices.
consideration shall be given to
pharmaceutical experience as long as
it
has been coupled with Medical Device
experience
-
Direct experience and demonstrated
success with the design, development
and launch of new Medical
(device/drug) products targeting the
pharmaceutical market preferred
-
Previous global leadership
experience including a proven track
record
of success partnering within a
matrixed environment
-
Strong strategic planning skills and
experience in business development,
and technology assessment
-
Commercial experience within the
Medical Product, Pharmaceutical and
/ or Biopharmaceutical market,
ideally with injectable drug
administration, clinical practices,
pharmacy management and healthcare
facility management
-
Strong leadership skills. Excellent
interpersonal, communication and
negotiation skills for a wide
variety of audiences, including
senior management
-
Proven ability to develop talent.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

MBA
with a technical undergraduate
engineering degree preferred.
