Senior Direct Marketing Strategist Job Description
Job Summary:
The
Senior Direct Marketing Strategist,
reporting to the Manager of Direct
Marketing,
will be responsible for leading the
development & execution of
segment-specific contact plans for
Company's acquisition, penetration and
reactivation campaigns. He/She will
serve as a thought partner in
closed-loop contact strategy
development; including list sourcing
recommendations, creation of
test/control design, design &
implementation of a range of customer &
prospect campaigns (i.e. catalogs,
direct mail, sales trigger based
activities, email marketing, and
telemarketing leads).

Description:
The
Senior Direct Marketing Strategist will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Design &
develop integrated direct marketing
contact plans across all of Company's
direct marketing activities, and
customer segments. This includes more
than 1300 annual catalog, direct mail,
email, sales enablement activities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders
in Segment Marketing & Marketing
Operations and External Vendors (list
brokers, email deployment vendors) to
plan & deploy campaigns in Company's
Campaign tool (Unica Affinium Campaign)
Mine
customer & prospect data to prepare list
recommendations, and targeting criteria
for customer and prospect vehicles;
leveraging database segmentation and
models for enhanced campaign execution
Translate
marketing business rules and
specifications into actionable campaigns
queries across multiple channels (i.e.
catalog, direct mail, email, sales
enablement activities)
Utilize
performance analytics to enable closed
loop marketing (i.e. understand campaign
performance and effectiveness and
implement changes in contact plan & list
recommendations according to insights)
Project
manage the campaign development process
which includes reviewing requirements
with internal stakeholders, preparation
and completion of design documentation
using internal tools/systems, timely
execution of campaigns in Unica and
quality control/audits against all
activities that allow for accurate
closed loop measurement
Collaborate with Marketing Database
Management, Segment Managers, Reporting
& Analysis, Modeling, and Product
Marketing teams.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

5
years experience in direct
marketing, campaign execution,
customer and prospect list
management
2
years experience in testing design &
prospect data mining
Proficient in campaign management
tools or processes
Experience with tools such as Unica,
Siebel, or E.piphany is a plus
Strong cognitive skills including
analysis, problem solving, high
attention to detail, and decision
making
Experience with analyzing &
integrating marketing performance
results for future testing & contact
plan optimization
Ability to work on multiple projects
concurrently within established
timeframes
Ability to work collaboratively with
team members, internal customers and
external vendors

Experience in Multi-channel campaign
execution.
Minimum Education Requirements /
